Privacy Policy

How Glow Clean handles app data.

Effective date: May 20, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Glow Clean ("Glow Clean", "we", "us", or "our") processes information when you use the Glow Clean iOS app and this legal website.

1. Summary

Glow Clean is an AI-assisted photo cleanup and retouching app. You choose photos from your device, provide or select editing instructions, optionally mark areas for local edits, and receive edited results. Some features require cloud processing because the app sends the selected image, prompt, and optional mask to our processing servers or service providers.

The current app version does not require an account and does not include ads, third-party analytics SDKs, subscriptions, contacts access, location access, camera access, or microphone access.

2. Information We Process

Information When processed Purpose
Photos and images you select When you import a photo, request editing suggestions, start an AI edit, save a project, continue editing, or export/share a result. To display the image, prepare an optimized upload copy, generate edits or suggestions, save project versions, and let you save or share results.
Edited result images When the AI edit returns a result or when you save/export comparison images. To show before/after previews, keep local history, continue editing, save to Photos, or share from the app.
Editing prompts and preset instructions When you type instructions, use a preset, retry an edit, request suggestions, or save a draft. To tell the AI service what change to apply and to preserve your draft or edit history on your device.
Local selection masks and area summaries When you mark areas to edit, protect, erase, or box-select. To focus AI edits on the selected area and to restore draft editing state.
Project history and metadata When you create, rename, favorite, restore, or delete local projects. To show project titles, creation/update dates, status, favorite state, version count, and edit history in the app.
App preference data When you turn automatic draft saving on or off. To remember your local setting on the device.
Standard technical request data When the app communicates with our processing servers or when you visit this website. To deliver the service, protect the service, troubleshoot errors, and maintain logs needed for operations. This can include IP address, request time, user agent, and error information.

3. Photo Library Access

Glow Clean uses Apple's photo picker so you can choose images for editing. The app also requests add-only photo-library permission when you save edited results back to Photos. If you decline a permission, the related feature may not work. You can change photo permissions in iOS Settings.

4. AI Processing

When you use AI editing or AI suggestion features, the app may upload an optimized copy of the selected image, your prompt or preset instruction, and any optional mask data to our processing servers or trusted service providers. The processing is used to generate suggestions, create edited images, return temporary result links, and deliver the edited image back to the app.

If you do not want a photo to be uploaded for cloud AI processing, do not use AI editing or AI suggestion features for that photo.

5. On-Device Processing

Some feature checks, such as detecting whether an image appears to contain a person, may run on your device using Apple system frameworks. This helps the app decide whether a selected photo fits a feature before you submit an AI edit.

6. How We Use Information

7. Storage and Retention

On your device

Project images, edited results, prompts, local selection data, and project metadata are stored in the app's local application storage. They remain there until you delete projects, delete the app, or iOS removes app data according to system behavior.

Cloud processing

Images, prompts, masks, result links, and technical request data processed by our servers or service providers may be retained for the limited time needed to provide the feature, operate the service, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. We aim to minimize retention of user image content for processing tasks.

Support messages

If you email us, we may keep your email address and message content as long as needed to respond, manage the request, and maintain business records.

8. Sharing and Service Providers

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Glow Clean, including cloud hosting, AI image processing, security, and website hosting providers. These providers process information on our behalf or as needed to deliver the requested feature.

We do not currently sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate protections where required.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by Glow Clean. Internet transmission and electronic storage involve risk, so please avoid submitting images or prompts that you are not comfortable processing through an online service.

10. International Processing

Your information may be processed in countries or regions different from where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing by our service providers.

11. Children

Glow Clean is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will review the request.

12. Your Choices and Rights

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes, our processing practices change, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. If a material change affects how we process your information, we will provide notice in a reasonable way.

14. Contact
